Amazon will launch its Prime Instant Video platform in Italy, Spain and France before the end of 2016, according to Le Figaro.
Although Amazon has not made any official statement regarding a potential launch, the French newspaper indicated that a representative from the company had started to “float the concept” with local parliamentarians. The report also noticed that the brand names have been registered in France.
It seems likely that Amazon will make announcements on its next earnings report, due on or around July 25.
In Europe, Amazon Prime Video is available in the UK and Germany.
