Spain’s Telefónica plans to introduce a range of new packages and services to its Movistar + Fusion offer.
According to El Economista, its proposal is now with the regulator CNMC, whose approval it will require before proceeding.
Quoting ADSL Zone, it adds that the telco has told its distributors that the plan could amount to “ a real revolution” to the offer.
It includes the possible introduction of a small football package, containing only eight games from La Liga and Copa del Rey, for an increase of between €2-5, depending on the tariff for 30 Mbps or 300 Mbps.
This could encourage subscribers to eventually opt for low price special interest packages.
Telefónica also plans to significantly improve the mobile telephony element of its Movistar + Fusion offer, as well as to introduce a WiFi decoder to receive future packages.
