Wolfgang Elsäßer, managing director of Astra Deutschland, will terminate his 12-year career at the satellite operator on May 1, 2016.
Today was his last working day, reports German industry portal Clap. The 47-year old has been heading the German branch of Luxembourg-based Astra operator SES since 2004.
Elsäßer was also managing director and chief commercial officer of SES Platform Services, the technical services subsidiary of SES, from 2005 to 2012. His future occupation is uncertain at this stage, according to the report.
