Telenor Norway has reorganised its products and services for fixed broadband and TV into a single division.
The somewhat belated move will wrap all services under the Canal Digital Cable TV and Telenor brands.
It will be headed by Birgit Bjørnsen, who says consolidating resources in a division will give the company a more competitive offering.
Bjørnsen has been with Telenor since 2000. She was previously marketing director for broadband and fixed telephony, and has held various managerial positions in sales, marketing and product in mobile and fixed divisions. Bjørnsen holds an MBA in Economics and management experience from various positions in Saga Petroleum.
All 570 employees will be retained in the new structure that comes into force on January 1, 2016.
