The A+E Networks factual entertainment channel History has launched on the Polish cable network Vectra.
As a result, it is now available to over 500,000 additional homes in the country.
History made its debut in Poland in 2008 and is currently available in over 4.6 million homes. Globally, it is distributed to over 350 million TV households in over 200 territories.
Vectra, one of Poland’s largest cable operators, is offering history in its Gold, Platinum and Super HD packages.
Commenting on the launch, Izabella Wiley, general manager, A+E Networks Poland said: “We are very excited about this launch on Vectra, as expanding the reach of History to new audiences is a priority for us. We believe that our channel will add tremendous value to Vectra’s offering and we are very pleased to be working with them on delivering great content to viewers in Poland.”
