Germany’s third-largest cable operator Tele Columbus has posted its first revenues and customer figures following the integration of Primacom on August 1, 2015.
In Q3 2015, the number of internet customers rose from 197,000 to 363,000 compared with the same period last year while the number of telephony customers grew from 166,000 to 352,000 and the number of premium TV customers increased from 163,000 to 397,000.
On 30 September 2015, the company served 2.83 million households of which 57% are equipped with a return channel for internet and telephony services.
The turnover climbed from €53.8 million to €73.9 million while the EBITDA rose from €25.7 million to €36.9 million. The average monthly revenue per customer increased from €14.0 to €14.9.
From 1 December 2015, the results of cable operator Pepcom which Tele Columbus took over in September 2015 will be included in the financial figures.
