The Russian DTH platform Tricolor TV has added six locally produced channels to its offer.
Five of the channels – Russian Detective, Living Planet, Techno 24, WBC (World Business Channel) and Men’s Cinema – have been placed in the ‘One’ package and the sixth – Ani – in the kids’ package.
Four of the channels (Russian Detective, Living Planet, Techno 24 and Ani) are provided by Signal Media, the leading distributor of thematic channels in Russia, bringing the total on Tricolor TV sourced from the company to 14.
The six channels can be viewed by Tricolor TV subscribers in parts of Russia covered Eutelsat 36A and 36B who have MPEG-4 reception equipment.
Russian Detective and Ani are also available to subscribers in Siberia and the Urals covered by the Express AT1 satellite.
