Poland’s Cyfrowy Polsat ended the second quarter with 4,372,517 contracted pay-TV subscribers, up 2.8% on a year earlier.
Of these, 886,305 (+14.9%) opted for multiroom. ARPU for its services, which also included mobile telephony and internet, amounted to PLN87 (€20.5), or 2% more than a year earlier.
In the prepaid segment, the number of pay-TV subscribers was, at 61,165, 22.8% lower than a year earlier.
The company had revenues of PLN2,469.2 million (+41.4%) in Q2 and its net profit was PLN304.5 million (+130.5%).
