Italy’s free-to-view DTH platform Tivùsat has added two more channels from Discovery, Giallo and Focus.
Discovery Italia already has three channels on the platform, DMAX, Real Time and Deejay TV. Focus is a male skewed entertainment channel, in cooperation with Focus magazine; Giallo is aimed at a female viewership and offers crime related programming.
Tivusat was launched on July 31, 2009 and offers a satellite alternative for many of those unable to receive digital terrestrial television in Italy.
Tivùsat is free-to-view and can be watched using a smart card and a compatible receiver with Nagravision scrambling system. The service is carried on Eutelsat at 13 degrees East.
