Slovak Sport.TV has huge debts and faces the prospect of losing its licence.
According to Zive, the broadcaster, which is now bankrupt, has claims against it totaling €1.44 million.
Having expanded into the Czech Republic and secured expensive sports rights for three channels, it gave away those to the Premier League when they failed to fulfill viewership expectations.
Slovak Telekom, the owner of the Premier League rights, then moved coverage to its channel Digi Sport.
It then closed its third channel Slovak Sport.TV3 in January and may now see its licence revoked by the Slovak Council for Broadcasting and Retransmission.
