Cambridge-based Ekioh has been named as a winner of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category – the UK’s highest accolade for business success.
Ekioh, known for its work in in Scalable Vector Graphics and TV Browser technology, has won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation for successfully enabling the delivery of visually compelling user interfaces on cost effective set top box technology.
“Being recognised with a second Queen’s Award for Enterprise is a great honour”, said Piers Wombwell, CEO at Ekioh. “Innovation is at the very heart of the products Ekioh creates. We are proud that our technology drives the user experience for millions of people.”
Ekioh has worked with a number of operators including Magyar Telekom and Riks TV.
