German music channel Deutsches Musik Fernsehen will be available on the cable network of Unitymedia from April 27, 2015.
Through the distribution deal with Germany’s second-largest cable operator, the channel for the fans of German-language music will achieve nationwide digital cable carriage. It has already been part of market leader Kabel Deutschland’s cable network for one and a half years.
At the same time, Deutsches Musik Fernsehen aims to increase its analogue cable distribution. The channel will become available in analogue on Kabel Deutschland’s cable network in federal state Bremen in April 2015, sharing a slot with public broadcaster NDR Fernsehen.
