TiVo says the growing number of relationships with operator partners has increased its total subscriber base by 328,000.
The growth of 37% has taken year-on-year growth to 5.1 million.
For the third quarter, service and technology revenues were $88.1 million, in line with company guidance. Adjusted EBITDA of $27.7 million compares to $23.8 million in the same quarter last year. Net income was $6.3 million from $12.5 million and included a GAAP tax benefit of $2 million versus a tax expense of $7.1 million this past quarter.
“The 337,000 MSO subscription additions in the quarter are on top of the approximately 624,000 we added during the first two quarters of the fiscal year. We have now reached over four million total MSO subscriptions, proof that our operator relationships are thriving,” said CEO Tom Rogers.
“In terms of existing distribution relationships, this quarter we showed how quickly TiVo can be deployed to an operator’s customer base. In just a little more than three months after announcing our agreement, Cogeco Cable Canada began the rollout of TiVo to its customers in Canada.”
TiVo’s European clients include Virgin Media, Ono and Com Hem.
