The Hungarian telco Invitel has announced that it is continuing an investment programme worth HUF4.5 billion (€14.7 million).

These services will now become available to tens of thousands of more homes in 18 towns and cities, increasing broadband coverage by 350%.
The 21 HD channels in currently provides, along with faster internet services, will become available to a 25,000 more homes on top of the 323,000 previously upgraded.
By the end of the year, it will provide broadband services to over 410,000 homes.
Invitel will also build 10 more head stations with microwave technology next year.
