Flemish private broadcaster VTM has started offering some of its programmes for free catch-up viewing up to four weeks after broadcast.
The service is currently a test on its vtm.be website and exists next to the paid catch-up service iWatch, which currently charges between EUR0.99 and EUR2.99 for epsidoes of TV series and movies. Only news and weather reports are free on iWatch
Programming will be available on PCs, Macs, tablets and smartphones, and includes programmes such as Familie and Met Vier in Bed, which were viewed around 185,000 times.
VTM also offers some of its programming on-demand over the TV app Stieve and on Yelo TV, the TV Everywhere service from cable operator Telenet. .
