Castaclip Networks, the operating company behind video discovery site iLoveVideo.tv, has appointed Tom Flack as head of European operations and CMO.
Based out of the company’s London office, Flack will be responsible for growing the global audience of iLoveVideo.tv, developing content and strategic partnerships, and shaping the identity of the iLoveVideo.tv brand with consumers worldwide.
Flack comes to iLoveVideo.tv from The Huffington Post where, as managing editor, he was responsible for audience development, product management, user experience and commercial strategy for The Huffington Post UK, as well as AOL UK’s Money, Travel, Parenting, Style, Cars and Sport channels.
“Tom’s background, experience and energy are the perfect mix for this position,” said Ekow Yankah, founder and CEO of Castaclip Networks. “Our goal is to position iLoveVideo.tv as the first truly TV-like digital experience, where the viewer can kick back and enjoy a non-stop stream of interesting, entertaining and relevant content. Audience engagement is the hallmark of great TV, and Tom is the man to make it happen.”
“iLoveVideo.tv is perfectly positioned at the intersection of two mega-trends: a dramatic increase in consumer consumption of online video, and automated editorial curation underpinned by data and insight,” said Flack.
