Amsterdam-based music channel Xite will enter the German market on September 2 following a deal with cabler Unitymedia KabelBW.
The agreement will expand the channel’s reach top a total of 15 million homes. At the moment, Xite is available on all major platforms in the Netherlands (UPC, Ziggo, KPN, Caiway) and Telenet in Belgium. It is also available online.
The German move adds 6.7 million homes to the channels footprint, and is part of the international expansion strategy which aims to bring the channel to the US and France during the next few months.
Xite offers a linear music channel where viewers can request their favourite clips using the remote control. In addition, they can build their own streaming music channel with MyXite. Xite On Demand offers clips and concerts on demand.
