The growing importance of Romania’s Pro TV to Central European Media Enterprises (CME) has been underlined by its latest audience share figures.
These show that in March the station achieved the highest prime-time figure in the history of Romanian TV audience measurement.
Significantly, Pro TV also set the last audience share record, almost 12 years ago.
In its main target demographic (urban, 18-49), it achieved a share of 28.5% in March, more than double that of its closest competitor.
It also achieved the highest monthly audience share in all-day since November 2006 (21.7%).
Commenting on the figures, Christoph Mainusch, Co-CEO of CME, said: “We expect to continue making efficient targeted investments in programming to maintain our audience share leadership. PRO TV’s results from March demonstrate this strategy produces excellent results.”
