Romania’s National Audiovisual Council (CNA) has approved the selection criteria for licensing digital terrestrial broadcast services.
According to Mediafax, this includes editorial projects, technical and financial, that TV has to comply with in the transition from analogue to digital broadcasting.
The move follows a request from the National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM) to the CNA to provide it with criteria on which to base the selection and licensing of audiovisual works to be included in the documentation submitted to potential multiplex operators.
ANCOM will shortly be holding a tender for five DTT multiplexes.
