Italy’s Mediaset has secured exclusive rights – both live and highlights – to the Champions League for 2015-2018 for an undisclosed fee.
In a statement, the broadcaster says that the rights encompass all platforms and include live streaming on fixed and mobile devices.
As well as showing matches on the Mediaset Premium platform, Mediaset will offer one match per round each Wednesday in HD on its networks.
The games covered until 2018 include the European Super Cup.
The rights to the Champions League in Italy are currently held by Sky Italia.
