Romania’s RCS&RDS has made a number of changes to its digital cable offer in Bucharest.
Quoting industry sources, Mediafax reports that these include the introduction of Comedy Central Extra, History HD, Viasat Nature/History HD, Eurosport HD and Eurosport 2 HD.
At the same time, it has, as previously communicated by the company, removed VH1 and Film Café from its channel line-up.
It is understood, though not confirmed, that the same changes have also been made in RCS&RDS cable networks in other parts of Romania.
RCS&RDS is the leading cable and DTH operator in Romania and has a growing portfolio of proprietary channels.
They include the new-based Digi 24 HD and documentary Digi Animal world, Digi Life and Digi World.
It is also a shareholder in the music channels Music Channel, H!T Music Channel and UTV.
