Espial has announced that Norway’s Canal Digital Kabel-TV has selected its video delivery platform Espial MediaBase, to power advanced IP video services including video-on-demand and timeshift TV.
Canal Digital Kabel, the country’s largest operator, has recently launched its T-WE service which is being rolled out nationally to over 400,000 digital cable subscriber households.

Originally announced in August, Canal Digital is running the T-WE service on ADB set-tops.
