Business network CNBC has made a series of appointments within its sales, business development and distribution teams.
Junji Sumitani is promoted to the new position of vice president of international business development. Sumitani has led the CNBC sales organisation in Asia-Pacific for the past three years and will now extend his remit to include EMEA. Sumitani is based in Singapore and reports to KC Sullivan, president and managing director of CNBC International.
Jacqueline Lam has been promoted to the new position of vice president of International Distribution. Lam will manage all of CNBC’s existing distribution and affiliate relationships. She previously led the distribution and marketing for CNBC in Asia-Pacific and is based in Singapore, also reporting to KC Sullivan.
“These changes align all parts of our business to work across our international network,” said KC Sullivan, President and Managing Director of CNBC International. “An international structure enables us to operate more effectively for the benefit of our viewers, partners and commercial clients and positions us well for long-term growth.”
Justin Davison is promoted to vice president, sales, UK and Western Europe. He will now lead sales activities across Western Europe, creating 360 degree solutions that take advantage of CNBC’s broadcast, digital, mobile, event and social media platforms.
Davison previously led CNBC’s sales in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Germany & Scandinavia. He will be based in London and report to Jason Webby.
