Russia’s leading DTH platform Tricolor TV will add a new music channel package to its offer on November 1.
According to the company, it will cost R500 (€11.4) a year to receive and contain MTV Rocks, MTV Dance, MTV Hits, VH1 Classic, VH1 European, MCM Top and Mezzo Classic Jazz.
In addition, it will include TOPSONG TV, a new channel created specifically for the package by Bridge Media, a leading Russian media holding.
The music package, which began broadcasting in test mode last week, will become the eighth additional package offered by Tricolor TV to its subscribers.
It will be initially available to those living in the European part of Russia, covered by Eutelsat 36A and 36B at 36 degrees East, with those resident in Siberia being able to receive it following the launch of the new satellite Express-AT1, located at 56 degrees East, on which the platform his leased capacity.
