ESPN Player, the live and on-demand sports streaming service, is now available on Samsung Smart TVs across the UK and Europe, and is expected to launch on LG Smart TV’s in the near future.
Samsung Smart TVs are now able to download the free ESPN Player App directly onto their TV’s from Samsung Apps. Existing subscribers to the service will simply log in with their ESPN Player username and password and be able to watch high-quality sports content on their TV.
New ESPN Player subscribers will be directed to subscribe creating a login name and password for a single subscription that works across all available devices. The ESPN Player app is available on all 2012 and 2013 model Samsung Smart televisions in the regions.
Fans with LG Smart TV’s will soon be able to follow a similar procedure and watch ESPN Player content directly on their TV.
ESPN Player is ESPN’s broadband service in the UK and across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, delivering exclusive premium sports content live and on-demand. The service offers fans more than 1500 live and on-demand events, including NCAA (National College Athletic Association) basketball and American football, winter and summer X Games, American Le Mans Series and the World Series of Poker.
Subscriptions to ESPN Player are available for Daily, Weekly Monthly and Season Passes.
