IRT Stand 10.F51 (and Futurezone 8.F40, and 1.B40). ‘Quality control along your broadcast applications’ is IRT’s main focus at this year’s show, offering play-out, monitoring and standards development, as well as training and consultancy in the HbbTV/OTT field.
BRAHMS (Broadcast and HbbTV Media Server), IRT’s professional playout system for HbbTV services, brings your HbbTV applications easily and cost-efficient to your customers. IRT has developed ‘the Second Screen Framework’ a manufacturer independent solution for connecting your second device with your TV, development of which was funded by the EU project FI-CONTENT.
IRT is one of nine partners in HBB-NEXT, an European project of partners from the broadcast industry and research institutes, like IRT. The project is presenting showcases for advanced hybrid multi-user TV services based on existing standards like HbbTV and its upcoming release HbbTV 2 in the Future Zone at booth 8.F40.
At video distribution specialist Net Insight’s booth, 1.B40, there will be a demo of IRT designed ‘Touch&Switch’, a software-based touch screen application to easily switch audio and video signals based on the network DTM-technology by Net Insight.
