Four in 10 households in Spain who do not subscribe to pay-TV say they believe services are too expensive, according to a new report published by the regulator CMT.
However, focusing on the second half of 2012, it also says that three quarters are satisfied with the choice of free channels.
According to the report, 23.5% of homes in Spain received some form of pay-TV, including services offered via satellite, IPTV and cable, with the highest penetration being found in population centres with between 200,000- 500,000 inhabitants.
The report also found that 66.9% of homes had some for of internet access (fixed or mobile) and 78.3% at least one computer.
