Philips Net TV has added new apps ranging from Ted talks to adult entertainment from Playboy as well as an updated version of wetter.com.
The German worldwide weather service Wetter.com App was nicely updated and is available on all devices across the world.
TED: Ideas worth spreading, finally comes to Philips TV with the best talks and performances from TED. Each week the newest TEDTalks are available, and the service can be accessed from all countries.
Playboy TV offers adult entertainment, is available on all smart devices except 2009 TV’s. For all countries except Turkey and Germany.
The app NRJ Radio Station from the French radio group is now available worldwide, it has no country restrictions (in the international country section) and is available on 2012 and 2013 high-end TV models.
New regional apps include Zouzous (an entertainment app for children in France for high-end 2012 & 2013 TV models), RTS info (a news App for Switzerland, for all Net TV devices), and Net HR.TV (a news and entertainment portal for Croatia and Serbia, on 2010 devices and beyond).
DVDpost is a new video store for Belgium for 2012 High-end TV’s and 2013 TV’s. The app is offered in the English language by default, but after-sign viewers can choose the French or Dutch language.
There are two new premium apps for Turkey, LigTV with a complete overview for soccer in Turkey with reviews, interviews, matches etc. It is available on the 2012 and 2013 high-end range.
DigiTurk offers TV series, documentaries, best entertainment, lifestyle and sports programmes for Turkey and is available for 2012 & 2013 high-end TV’s.
Finally, the new music service Muzu.TV allows the user access to over 120,000 music videos. This app is available for: Austria, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK on all High-End Ranges in 2k12 and 2k13.
Earlier, the Acetrax Movies service was closed down by its new owners Sky.
