The Hungarian pay-DTT platform MinDig TV Extra now has 100,000 subscribers.
As a result, it has become the fifth largest pay-TV service in the country. At the same time, its sister FTA DTT operation MinDig TV now has over 350,000 viewers.
Both services are operated by the national transmission company Antenna Hungária, which says that significant developments can be expected at MinDig TV Extra following Hungary’s ASO, which will be undertaken in two phases this year.
These include making its Family package widely available, expansion of the programme line-up and integration of new services into the product portfolio.
MinDig TV Extra was launched three years ago and is now one of the most successful pay-DTT operations in the CEE region.
