Exterity is to run demos of tailored TV and video portals designed for corporate, education, media and sports industries.
The company, best known as a provider of in-house IPTV communication technologies to the professional AV communities, plans to demonstrate how IPTV administrators can quickly and easily create and customise a variety of portals to suit particular audiences, and to add functions such as branding, messaging, access rights, recording and scheduling.
“One of the main benefits of IPTV is that it enables organisations to deploy a far greater range of channels and content than is possible with a traditional video distribution system,” says Exterity CEO Colin Farquhar. “However, with this increased choice comes the added burden of segmenting, creating, designing and managing different channels and portals.
The objective of the demonstrations is to show how careful IPTV management can unlock additional value.
At ANGA COM Exterity will also be showing the latest additions to the AvediaStream TVgateway line, the g4310 and g4315. These two products enable customers to decrypt twice the number of channels with a single TVgateway blade than previously
