Canal Plus has said it intends to launch its multiscreen service Canal Touch on Windows 8 tablets this November.
Canal Touch is already available on PCs and the latest Microsoft OS and is available from the Windows Phone Store.
The service provides live access to the Canal+ network with plans to integrate 50 channels from the Canalsat package within the near future.
Launched in November 2011 on iOS and Android tablets, Canal Touch is available to satellite and ADSL subscribers.
Non-subscribers can also use the app to take advantage of Cana l’s free-to-air windows.
Windows 8 is the new territory for multiscreen services, sitting alongsode the established Apple and Android platforms.
