Media Broadcast has announced that at the beginning of May, Holger Meinzer will take over as division head, business unit TV.
The 36-year-old Meinzer has been at Media Broadcast since 2007 and was most recently responsible for the company’s international DVB-T2 business sector. Meinzer succeeds Henrik Rinnert, who is leaving the company at his own request to focus on other tasks.

“As someone who has been with the company for many years, he can ensure continuity, especially as regards the core DVB-T business. We would also like to thank Henrik Rinnert for his outstanding services to the company. With his renewal of the ProSiebenSat.1 contract he has, not least of all, laid an important foundation for the future of our DVB-T platform – the ideal conditions for the successful development of one of Media Broadcast’s key areas of business. We wish him all the very best for his future career.”
Holger Meinzer joined Media Broadcast in 2007, initially undertaking a number of different tasks in the strategy area, including responsibility for the DVB-H activities in Austria. He was then responsible for successfully developing the international DVB-T2 business, with Asia as its main focus, Here he acquired and implemented a series of key innovation projects aimed at the future development of digital terrestrial broadcasting, e.g. in Singapore and Malaysia.
