CNBC has announced the appointment of KC Sullivan as its new president and managing director following Satpal Brainch’s move to become EVP & managing director, Universal Networks International.
Sullivan will lead the CNBC International business operations across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa and will be based in London. He joined CNBC in August 2009 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer responsible for leading the finance operation globally for CNBC, having previously been a part of GE’s Corporate Audit Staff. Mark Hoffman, President, CNBC says: “KC has in-depth knowledge of the CNBC global network from his prior roles and as a result has a deep understanding of the dynamics of the CNBC International business across territories. I’m confident that he has the right blend of leadership and enterprise skills to continue to grow CNBC International and I look forward to working with him in his new role.”
At Universal Networks International Brainch will be responsible for the overall business strategy of Universal Networks International, with oversight of affiliate sales, ad sales, programming and strategic operations across NBCUniversal’s channels portfolio (Syfy, Universal Channel, 13th Street, Diva, E!, Style, Studio Universal and Movies 24) in support of UNI channels growth.
