Orange Polska has begun a trial offering internet access at up to 200 Mbps in parts of Warsaw.
According to the operator, it includes a package of multimedia services, among them the nc+ TV channel offer, hundreds of films, series and TV programmes on demand, the web TV service Tu i Tam and multiroom.
The trial is employing FTTH technology and will last until the end of August, with customers being offered the services free of charge.
Orange Polska currently reaches 12,500 homes via FTTH in Warsaw, though it plans to increase this to 20,000 by the end of the year.
It will subsequently introduce FTTH in other Polish cities.
