The Lithuanian incumbent telco TEO LT ended Q1 with 169,400 subscribers to its TV services, or 9.8% more than a year earlier.
At the same time, its broadband internet access user total rose by 4.2% to 389,500.
TV services accounted for 8.4% of the company’s total revenues in the first quarter.
Data produced by the regulator CRA meanwhile shows that TEO LT claimed a 46.2% share of digital TV revenues in Lithuania in Q4 2012.
The main highlight for the telco in Q1 this year was its financial performance, with its net profit growing by 3% year-on-year during the period to LTL38.3 million (€11.1 million).
TEO LT allocated LTL17 million for investment in the first quarter, with the majority (LTL15 million) going on the development of the core network and next-generation fibre-optic access networks.
