The new and under-fire Polish DTH platform nc+ has apologised to its customers and at the same time indicated it will significantly change its offer.
Speaking to Rzeczpospolita, nc+ president Julien Verley said that its biggest mistake had been to introduce too many changes at once and that the focus now was on connecting with customers.
The platform will shortly scrap its most expensive package, costing PLN199 (€29) a month, leaving its remaining packages priced at PLN39 to PLN119 a month.
It will also introduce a new package known as Ekstraklasa, featuring the Canal+ and nSport channels, along with 20 basic channels.
All customers will also have access to such additional services as HBO, Cinemax and multiroom.
NC+ was formed by the merger of Cyfra+ and n and made its official debut on March 21.
There was a negative reaction to its offer and contract conditions by a significant number of customers and this led to the creation of a Facebook group called Anty nc+.
At the same time, the competition office UOKiK has launched an investigation into nc+ and since received support from the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT).
The new platform began life with around 2.5 million subscribers and claims to have since gained 150,000 new customers.
There is no indication as to how many it has lost.
