Euronews has promoted Arnaud Verlhac to the position of director of
worldwide distribution.
In his new role, Verlhac, who joined Euronews in March 2012 as deputy of worldwide distribution, will be in charge of the Worldwide Distribution Department.
His tasks will comprise the development of the channel’s international distribution across all broadcast platforms (cable, satellite, ADSL, internet) and in the out-of-home market (aircraft, ships, hotels, public places).
Walid Chamak, marketing manager since 2007, has meanwhile been appointed head of digital partnerships and will report to Arnaud Verlhac.
Furthermore, Iris Abraham, head of international relations and strategic partnerships with universities, international organisations and leading institutions, will in additionally be in charge of the Euronews network and will also report to Verlhac.
