Hungary has provided an outline of the final stages of its digital transition process.
Speaking at the opening day of a conference in Venice, leading executives from the regulator NMHH said that ASO would be completed in two stages this year, with the central part of Hungary going digital by July 31 and the remainder of the country by October 31.
Although it would be a difficult task and could only be implemented by state and local government agencies, NGOs and communications service providers working together with the NMHH, the experience gained in launching Hungary’s first digital city showed it could be done in the rest of the country.
