In Brief: Euronews, Trace, Brava NL, Zattoo

Euronews has renewed its contract with Arabsat to continue broadcasting the Arabic version of the channel on Arabsat Badr-4 for five more years. “Arabsat is one of our strongest partners since the launch of Euronews on Badr-4 in July 2008, at the same time as we launched Euronews Arabic,” said Arnaud Verlhac, deputy director worldwide distribution at Euronews.

Trace Sports and Trace Urban are now available on Snow, the new IPTV offer launched by KPN Belgium. Trace Sports is now part of the Basic Snow package, while Trace Urban is available on demand and as part of the French-language Teens and Music package.

Dutch cultural channel Brava NL will remain part of the basic analogue tier in large parts of the UPC Nederland footprint. The local programme councils of Amsterdam, Alkmaar, Hilversum, South-Holland South, Rotterdam, Rijnmond, South-East Brabant, Gelderland South, Gelderland Norh, GelreWest and South-East Flevoland have advised the cabler to include the channel for the period July 2013-June 2014.

Zattoo is adding four more premium TV channels for its subscribers in Germany. Sportdigital, Hustler, RCK TV and Jukebox will be added to the line-up, which now consists of ten premium channels. They are available for €9.99 a month.
