Swedish public broadcaster SVT has begun streaming all of its national channels on the SVT Play platform.
SVT1, SVT2, Barnkanalen, Kunskapskanalen and SVT24 are all available in the service over computers tablets, mobiles and computers.
“SVT Play now has another role – the channels where you want. Our goal is to provide the range of SVT channels where the audience is. We continue to develop services that allow our audience can receive channels through new technologies,” said Lena Glaser program director for interactive offerings and platforms on SVT.
The broadcaster is continuing to use SVT Play as its catch-up service with content made available immediately after transmission.
