The leading Russian DTH platform Tricolor TV saw its subscriber base grow by 26% to 11.9 million in 2012.
At the same time, its ARPU in the year amounted to R726 (€17.9), or 15% more than in 2011, and its annual revenue increased by 43% to R6.3 billion.
In terms of revenue structure, 88% of that in 2012 came from basic and 12% from additional services.
This compared to 89% and 11% respectively in the previous year, with growth in 2012 being helped by its Kinozal movie service, which attracted 200,000 subscribers in its first two months of operation.
Tricolor TV was also boosted by its HD service, which was launched last summer and attained one million subscribers earlier this month.
The company says that its target for this year is to reach 14.5 million subscribers, with 3.5 million receiving HD services.
It expects its revenue from additional services to increase by 35% to R1.02 billion and its total revenues to R2.2 billion.
