The leading Ukrainian cable operator Volia is seeing its revenues grow by an average of 2-3% a year and could see turnover exceed UAH1 billion (€91.1 million) in 2013, according to Pierre Danon, the company’s executive chairman.
Quoted by Korrespondent, he added that its profitability is also at a fairly good level compared to Western countries, with EBITDA just above UAH400 million and free cash flow UAH150 million in 2012.
Danon also said that Volia’s share of the Ukrainian pay-TV market grew from 55% to 59% last year, while that of the more competitive internet stood at around 20% in the cities the company is present in.
