Poland’s second largest cable operator Multimedia Polska has unveiled ambitious plans for 2013.
Quoted by Gazeta Prawna, its president Andrzej Rogowski says they include the possible acquisition of smaller companies in the second half of the year – Multimedia Polska was itself up for sale in 2012 but then taken off the market – and an increase in revenues, even taking such acquisitions into account, of between 7-10%.
There will also be a focus on increasing the number of subscribers receiving triple-play services – as of last year they amounted to around 120,000 of over 820,000, with the number growing by only 3-4,000 a quarter.
Furthermore, it has begun phasing out analogue services and expects to invest some PLN190 million (€46.3 million) in total this year.
