Star Network has signed a new multi-year carriage agreement with Sky that includes new channels and new services.
The suite of channels in the Hindi and Bengali languages are included in the package, such as Star Plus, Star Life OK, and Star Gold are covered in the agreement, as is the recently launched Star Plus HD.

Between them the new channels have a monthly reach of over 1.5 million viewers.
In addition to Star Plus HD, the first Asian channel in the UK market to move to the format, on demand services are planned. Star Jalsha the new entertainment channel, launched on November 22.
Star Jalsha is the number one Bengali general entertainment channel in India, offering premium content including drama and reality series, cultural and religious shows, cookery programmes, comedies and more.
