TivùSat closes in on two million

Free-to-air platform TivùSat is now in 5.6% of Italian homes following a further increase in household numbers.

As of mid-November the Eutelsat-delivered platform declared 1,700,000 active smart cards, across 1,430,000 families.

The regions with the highest penetration levels are Calabria, where 12% of families chose TivùSat, Liguria (11.5%), Molise (11.2%), Valle d’Aosta (9.8%), Basilicata (9.7%) and Sicily (8.4%).

57 TV channels and 45 radio are available on 31 certified decoder devices.
