Bulgaria’s TV7 has been acquired by the London-based pan-European corporate finance and M&A advisory firm Alegro Capital for an undisclosed fee.
Speaking to the local press in Sofia, Patrick Martin, a MD and the head of media, internet and entertainment practice at the firm, said that it was its first deal in Southeastern Europe.
TV7, which was most recently owned by Crown Media, has its roots in Seven Days, one of the first commercial TV stations in Bulgaria.
As part of the agreement, Alegro Capital has also secured control of the TV channels BBT and Super7.
