The Macedonian station Alfa TV has undergone a change of ownership and now lists the Serbian company CHS as its majority (56%) shareholder.
Balkan Insight reports that CHS acquired the stake in the company for €2.5 million through CHS Invest Group, which is registered in the Macedonian capital, Skopje.
Interestingly, the new owner is listed in the Macedonian Central Registry, with the deal having apparently been completed on June 25, but neither party wished to make it public.
Alfa TV was established in June 2008 and formerly majority owned by Alfa Skop.
CHS, on the other hand, is wholly owned by Comtrade Holding, an offshore company based in the Dutch Antilles.
