The leading Russian DTH platform Tricolor TV has now also become the largest provider of HD services in the country.
Tricolor TV Full HD, the service it launched just two months ago, has already secured its 250,000th subscriber and looks to be on track to be in around 3.9 million households by the end of next year.
The biggest take-up of the service to date has been in the Krasnodar region (around 29,500 connections), followed by Moscow (21,500), Rostov (13,900) and Dagestan (over 7,000).
Tricolor TV viewers can receive around 160 channels, including over 20 In HD, for only R900 (€22.3) a month.
