Spacecom extends Hungarian deal

Spacecom has signed a follow-on, long-term contract with Magyar Telekom worth up to $7 million (€5.56 million).

It will provide the Deutsche Telekom-backed company with more bandwidth for its T-Home Sat TV DTH platform, allowing for the addition of more channels and creation of new bouquets.

T-Home Sat TV and its sister service Magio TV in Slovakia use of a total of 216 MHz on the Amos fleet at the 4 degrees West position and in recent years Magyar Telekom has expanded its relationship with Spacecom with deals worth up to $14 million.
