Simon Woodward, CEO of set-top box developer Ant, has resigned from the company.
In a brief statement the Cambridge firm confirmed Woodward’s immediate departure and said finance director Pauline Ingram would hold the post on an interim basis.
Woodward had been CEO of ANT for 15 years, prior to which he ran the consultancy Clarwood Associates, and held various posts at Acorn Computer.
ANT works with its Galio browser and is also a developer of HbbTV.
In the year to December 2012, ANT reported pre-tax losses of £340,000, a 42% reduction on the previous year.
An interim statement is due on August 29.
